Actor George Clooney, hero of the Emergency Room TV series and of numerous Hollywood films, has been accepted for life membership in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) [1].

His two sponsors in that elitist think tank are New York Time columnist Nick Kristof and PBS journalist Charlie Rose.

Over recent years, the three men have been advocating in favour of a U.S. intervention in Darfur. George Clooney personally produced a propaganda documentary displaying the misery of refugees to bolster the U.S. view of the conflict.

Meanwhile, the White House is actively laying the groundwork for the independance of Darfur [2].
