HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 12 (acn) Venezuelan President highlighted on Thursday the importance of the agreements signed with Cuba during his recent visit to the island on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Cuba-Venezuela Comprehensive Agreement.

During a special program broadcast by a Venezuelan national network, Chavez said that his visit to Cuba also served to re-launch this bilateral accord for the 2010-2020 period.
In this regard, he mentioned nearly 20 projects that will soon begin to be implemented out of a total 50 signed that include the creation of real state agencies, manufacture of sacks, the processing of scrap iron and the construction of a pharmaceutical industrial complex.
He also mentioned the creation of a joint venture to repair oil tanks as well as the construction of dry docks and shipyards, and transformers for the electrical industry.
Other projects include the manufacture of drills for oil drilling, agro-industrial equipment and plants of hydrated lime
