Hezbollah, a strong force in the Lebanese government, will not indict its members to the UN-backed Special Tribunal for Lebanon. The statement was made by the leader of the movement Hassan Nasrallah after the tribunal issued a warrant to arrest four men behind the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

The Hezbollah Shia movement has denounced the Special Tribunal time and again, branding it an Israeli plot. Nasrallah stressed that no government would be able to arrest the “honorable brothers” neither in 30 days as required by the Tribunal nor in 300 years.
