The Bundestag confirms Germany and Israel’s special relationship

The Bundestag (German lower house) passed on 13 June 2013 a resolution blazoning the close relationship between Germany and Israel.

The resolution condemns indistinctly anti-Semitic acts in Germany and the resistance to the Israeli occupation (including Hezbollah).

All the political parties represented in the Assembly supported the resolution with the exception of Die Linke (the Left Party), which abstained.
