Despite the numerous attempts of Russia, western partners of Ukraine, international bodies and communities, the violent operation in the East of Ukraine continues, civilians continue to die and civil infrastructure sites are being destroyed.

On the night between the 3 and 4 July, the Ukrainian Army made artillery strikes at Bolshaya Vergunka, a suburb of Lugansk. Some missiles reached the centre of the town. On the 4 July, the Ukrainian forces continued artillery shooting at residential districts of Lugansk.

The Kiev forces are destroying their own cities, using the tactics, which are rarely used by occupation forces in enemy territory.

On the 6 July, the punishers from the National Guard did “cleansing” in Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, which were left by militia. Local police officers were arrested and taken to an unknown location. All those, who are suspected of cooperating with the militia of the Donetsk Popular Republic are subjected to repression, even those who were interviewed by Russian journalists are being arrested. Men of call-up age, who could no leave these cities for whatever reason, are being detained and interrogated.

These are facts. They cannot be hidden.

It seems that it is senseless to request from Kiev again to shop shooting at civilian sites. Kiev is impervious to the appeals to save human lives. In this regard, we hope for an adequate reaction from European Union countries condemning the criminal policy by the Kiev authorities. Is this policy really implemented within the framework of the so-called political section of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement?
