In Syria, US not targeting Islamic State but oil installations

The United States, along with members of the GCC, has been bombing Syria for two days, ostensibly to destroy the Islamic State.

The strikes have mostly impacted Raqqa, from where the IS had already cleared out [1], and 12 oil refineries.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR, a British MI6 front, run by the Muslim Brotherhood), the strikes allegedly only killed 14 jihadists, probably none of whom was a member of the Islamic State.
