Voltaire Network

Wanted: Voluntary translators for Voltaire Net

+

Dear Readers,

When Voltaire Network first began, it was drafted in French only. Now it is regularly available in eight languages. This is thanks to the work of our forty translators, all of whom are working on a voluntary basis.

However, to translate all our articles, we would like to expand our team. We need volunteers able to translate from French into their mother tongue. We are also looking for volunteers that can translate from English to French.

Thanks to the quality of the articles published on Voltaire Net and their translations, in just a few years, Voltaire Net has become a reference in diplomatic, military and university circles in many countries.

For now, we are sufficiently well resourced in Arabic, German, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish.

However we still need people who can translate from French into their mother tongue:
- Czech [cz] from French
- Greek [el] from French
- Finnish [fi] from French
- Persian [fa] from French
- Armenian [hy] from French
- Japanese [ja] from French
- Dutch [nl] from French
- Norwegian [no] from French
- Polish [pl] from French
- Romanian [ro] from French
- Russian [ru] from French
- Serbian [sr] from French
- Chinese [zh] from French

And of course, volunteers whose mother tongue is French [Fr] and who are able to translate from English.

If you are interested and have the time, please do contact us by email: secrétaire de rédaction.
