Despite its financial difficulties triggered by international aggression, the Syrian Arab Republic has started to reconstruct its country. Housing is not its priority; its focus is infrastructure and public services.

Right now the arterial roads in the Southern Syria are being rebuilt.

More importantly, 350 000 teachers have returned to school. 30, 000 of these are new recruits. 100 new schools are being built and 3 000 should have mushroomed three years hence.

Opposed to all education other than the teaching of the Koran, the jihadists, supported by Nato, have systematically destroyed the schools established in the territories they were occupying. For seven years, many children have been deprived of the right to an education because of international aggression.
