Bucharest (Romania) | 14 March 2016For the first four years of the war, the Syrian Arab Army had to face up to a considerable influx of poorly-trained but well-equipped foreign mercenaries while having been unable to update its own equipment since 2005. But times have changed. Thanks to Iranian-trained militia and the supply of modern Russian material, it now has the capacity to win back the land it has lost. For the last two months, it has been progressing ceaselessly.
Bucharest (Romania) | 5 December 2015The elements presented during a Press conference in Moscow by General Viktor Bondarev, chief of staff of the Russian Air Force, leave no doubt – the Turkish aviation, which had been informed of the flight plan of the Russian Sukhoï, in accordance with the agreements on military co-ordination, had already recieved prior instructions to assume attack position. Bucharest (Romania) | 3 December 2015In response to the provocations of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, according to whom accusations should not be made lightly, the Russian government organised a Press conference by their assistant Minister for Defence. He presented proof that we have been publishing in our columns for more than a year – that Turkey, as a state, is responsible for the export of petrol stolen by Daesh in Iraq and Syria, thus offering between one and two billion dollars of annual revenue to the terrorist organisation. This traffic continues in violation of the pertinent resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
Bucharest (Romania) | 12 November 2015Valentin Vasilescu demonstrates here the impossibility of the theory of a bomb placed in the plane. After having explored all hypotheses, there is now only one left – that of a failure in the software of the automatic pilot. We may therefore conclude that the accusations of the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as the claim for responsibility by the Islamic Emirate, are propaganda. The crash was not a terrorist attack. But the problems in the automatic pilot system may be either an accident or the effect of sabotage by an extremely specialised secret service.
