USA: Obama Administration

Thanks to a remarkable communication campaign, the Anglo-American empire succeeded in restoring the image of the United States as a democratic and authoritative country that George W. Bush had tarnished. Arousing a groundswell of sympathy throughout the world, Barack Obama is skillfully enacting his role as first Black president of the USA, using his charm and elegance to pursue through different methods the same rapacious policies as those of his predecessors. He granted full immunity to the Bush Administration, prolonged the occupation of Iraq, expanded the one in Afghanistan, used the economic crisis to intensify the exploitation of the Third World by the IMF and the World Bank, compelled the funds invested in foreign contries to seek refuge in Anglo-American tax havens, took advantage of the ecological crisis to set asymmetrical economic norms, manipulated the fight against pandemics to impose a supranational authority, etc.

The Lobby Falters 26 March 2009

To torpedo him, the Israel Lobby mounted a smear campaign accusing Freeman of serving the interests of China and Saudi Arabia, which he could hardly deny without having to reveal his covert assignment with the intelligence services. However, the blatant efforts of the Lobby to undermine one of (...)

Obama expands US military intervention in Pakistan 25 February 2009
President Barack Obama has repeatedly pledged that the United States will continue its previous efforts to fight against terrorism. "We will forge a new and comprehensive strategy for Afghanistan and Pakistan to defeat al-Qaeda and combat extremism," said Obama in his first address to a joint session of the Congress. In 2001, Washington used the 9/11 attacks as a pretext to put into action long-developed plans to conquer Afghanistan and use it as a base to establish US hegemony in Central Asia, in order to control some of the richest deposits of oil and natural gas in the world. Now, in pursuit of the same imperialist aims, the Obama administration is launching a major escalation that will only further destabilize the region, intensify tensions with rival powers such as China and Russia. There is a growing danger of a military conflagration throughout Central Asia and (...)
