The world of satellite news channels made room on September 21, 2011 for the first Jewish station of this type: Jewish News One.

JN1 is based in Brussels, with studios in Tel Aviv, New York and Kiev. The channel broadcasts currently only in English but will soon expand to include programs in seven languages. It is already relayed in Europe by Satellite Astra 1G (31.5 °, frequency 12 090), and will soon be available in other parts of the world.

JN1 was created by Alexander Mashkevich [1]. It is officially owned by Vadim Rabinovich and Igor Kolomoisky, two shady Jewish Ukrainian businessmen.
