Activists say that the images broadcasted by opponents to the government as a “massacre” carred out by the Syrian Army in Karm Al-Zeitoun neighborhood are incorrect and the 25 dead bodies belong to people were kidnapped before by armed rebels; the Syrian TV channel broadcasts interviews with the neighborhood’s residents who state that gunmen killed the victims.

A raid at wanted people’s headquarter takes place in Al-Shammas neighborhood and results in the arrest of number of them and the seizing of tunnels, weapons and secret passages they used.
