USA : Big Safari Program escapes bidding

The Big Safari Program was created by the US Air Force in the 50’s and is still running. It’s mission is to invent new weapons, formerly spy planes, today particularly drones.

According to the Project On Government Oversight (POGO), it would have been attributed 31 billion dollars worth of contracts, 96% of which are adjucation free, in obvious violation of US state laws.

10% of the allocated sums were given to the Sierra Nevada Corporation, a high technology company directed by Turco-US, Fatih Ozmen.
