Iran signed an agreement protocol with the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency). According to this document, valid for three months, the Agency obtains the right to visit two new sites, access to documents regarding the construction of 16 new sites and reactors and, finally, will be provided with clarification on Iran’s enrichment facilities and laser enrichment technique.

There remains only one dispute: the access to the Parchin military complex. According to the CIA, it was allegedly used 10 years ago for nuclear research. However, Iran considers the opening of the site to foreign inspectors as a national security risk.

With this agreement, Iran would be honoring a commitment it is supposed to have made during the Geneva 5+1 conference. The negotiations will restart on November 20th.
