Moscow and Damascus Accuse London, Paris and Washington of Preparing Chemical Attack

The USS Sullivans destroyer (DDG-68) of the US Navy with 56 cruise missiles on board has been prepositioned in the Persian Gulf. Simultaneously, a US Air Force B-1B strategic bomber with 24 AGM-158 JASSM air-to-surface cruise missiles arrived at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

On August 29th, UN Secretary-General António Guterres called on all parties involved in Syria to show restraint.

On August 30, 2018, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Syrian counterpart, Walid al-Muallem, in a joint press conference, accused Britain’s MI6 of preparing a chemical attack in Syria to justify an attack on this country by the West.

Lavrov said the attack was organized by the White Helmets, an NGO created by MI6 that has already participated in the fighting many times.

Al-Muallem said the White Helmets had just abducted 44 children in Idleb governorate to sacrifice them during the operation. English-speaking experts from the British company "Olive" arrived at Kafr Zita to supervise the staging.

In Moscow, Alexei Tsygankov, head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Conflict, said that the White Helmets had been transporting toxic substances to Saraqib.

In Moscow, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that MI6 had just created a Twitter account for the fictional girl, Hala, who was responsible for reporting live on the chemical attack and attributing it to the Syrian government.

In Washington, the Russian ambassador, Anatoly Antonov, warned the administration against any participation in this false flag operation.
