Numerous US Congress members are sounding the alarm: aid to Ukraine represents a stratospheric expenditure that is straining the national budget. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) warns, “There are crises erupting all over the country,” hinting at the scores of problems that range from rampant drug use to massive illegal immigration.

57 representatives and 11 senators refused to vote for the 40 billion dollar tag requested for Ukraine.

Some candidates running for regional elections blare: “Not Ukrainians first, Americans first!”

However, none of these lawmakers questions the logic of the Biden Administration according to which Russia successively invaded South Ossetia, Crimea and Donbass in order to reconstitute an Empire. None of them understands Russia’s concerns about the establishment of US military bases on its border, nor about the role of the banderites in Ukraine.
