Hasta ahora, los responsables oficiales chinos expresaban en privado su escepticismo ante la ‎versión oficial de los atentados del 11 de septiembre de 2001. Es la primera vez que una voz ‎oficial de Pekín lo hace públicamente. ‎

Anteriormente, sólo el jeque Zayed, Hugo Chávez, Mahmud Ahmadineyad, Fidel Castro y Donald ‎Trump habían puesto en duda la versión oficial de Washington sobre los atentados del 11 de ‎septiembre de 2001. ‎
