The Post-Register and Fox News stated that hurricane Katrina, which showed the weak points of the country, was caused artificially. Hurt in their self-esteem, the Americans thought of themselves as victims of a foreign attack, perpetrated by the Russians or Japanese, or an internal crime organized by some multimillionaires, obviously, behind the back of president Bush.
