Large-scale manoeuvres encircling Venezuela

On 11 August 2017, the U.S. President, Donald Trump put on the table the option of taking military action against Venezuela. As Manlio Dinucci substantiates in this article, President Trump was not plucking words out of the air. The Mobility Guardian drill has just taken place in the United States, with the armies of 25 states participating and another 12 states observing. This was a repeat exercise for a prompt transport of forces of an enlarged Nato to the conflict zone.

Yes it’s a fact Jack: pure altruism motivates the United States to fund the deployment of its forces in Western Europe and Central Europe in order to protect Europe from a Russian invasion.
However this imminent danger is invalidated by History: Russian troops have never invaded Europe whereas the reverse operation has unfortunately been undertaken: first, by Emperor Napolean the First and then by the Fuhrer Adolf Hitler.
In actual fact, the exclusive aim of this exercise is to protect US soil. How so? By ejecting the potential theatre for confrontation from US soil and replanting it in Europe, potentially bearing fruit that might poison the people of Europe that the US is claiming to support.

Yesterday the Italian Defense Ministry’s satellite Optsat-3000 was launched in French Guyana, with a Vega rocket from the European Space Agency. What is interesting is that while the rocket was built in Italy (Avio), the actual satellite was made in Israel. The Italians purchased it in 2012, pursuant to a military cooperation agreement between Rome and Tel Aviv. The New UN Treaty on Nuclear Weapons

122 States have adopted a “Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons” which can be seen as supplementing and following on from the “Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty”. This new text clarifies how states are actually behaving: all the States who have signed the first Treaty are actually trashing it and have refused to sign the second.

On 15 June 2017, the United Nations will launch genuine negotiations striving to result in a prohibition on nuclear weapons. Until now, the Non Proliferation Treaty was a masquerade, the true and sole intention of which was to keep nuclear powers in a superior position to non-nuclear states. It is therefore not surprising that all nuclear powers, without exception, tried to oppose this initiative, which the UN General Assembly resolved in favour of.

On 25 April 2017, two US F-35 fighter planes arrived at the Ämari air base, Estonia, for their “first practice deployment in Europe”. This is code for their first war drill in Europe. Shortly afterwards, on 28 April, another two fighter planes arrived at the Graf Ignatievo airbase, Bulgaria for this same purpose. These planes form part of the group of six F-35A Lightning II that, on 15 April, were transferred from the United States to the English base situated in Lakenheath.
