A Fuse Blows up
The failure of American Communications
Paris (France) | 6 May 2004
Margaret DeB. Tutwiler resigned as Undersecretary of State for Propaganda after the scandal provoked by the pictures of the coffins of the dead American soldiers in Iraq and the tortures in Abu Ghraib prison. Washington, which had given hopes to its communication partners of the Arab world, does not know how to project a new image. In vain, it has spent millions of dollars since the September 11 attacks. The United States has not been able to implement its war of civilizations and be loved by its victims. The Empire refuses to accept its cynicism and wants to convince the world that it represents good.
