Dick Cheney slams White House support for Muslim Brotherhood

Speaking on September 10, 2014 at a closed-door meeting of Republican congressmen, and then to members of the American Enterprise Institute, former Vice President Dick Cheney has questioned the ability of President Obama to defeat the Islamic emirate.

According to him, Obama’s policy has been to support throughout the Arab world the aims of the Muslim Brotherhood, who are the fountainhead of all terrorist groups.

Thus far, the attempt and failure of the White House to systematically bring the Muslim Brotherhood to power (the "Arab Spring") had not been talked about in Washington. The Republican party intends to turn it into a campaign issue for the mid-term congressional elections.
