Dear Mr President:
I have been privileged to serve as our country’s 26th Secretary of Defense which has allowed me to serve alongside our men and women of the Department in defense of our citizens and our ideals.
I am proud of the progress that has been made over the past two years on some of the key goals articulated in our National Defense Strategy: putting the Department on a more sound budgetary footing, improving readiness and lethality in our forces, and reforming the Department’s (...)

Little by little, the partisans of the Cebrowski doctrine are advancing their pawns. If they must cease creating wars in the Greater Middle East, they’ll just turn around and inflame the Caribbean Basin. Above all, the Pentagon is planning to assassinate an elected head of state, ruin his country, and undermine the unity of Latin-America.

The Atlantist Press has been claiming for years that President Bachar el-Assad used chemical weapons against his own people. Except that according to US Secretary for Defense, General Jim Mattis, this is fake news. Like Saddam Hussein’s chemical weapons, this story, which has been occupying the columns of newspapers for the last five years, is pure war propaganda.

Responding to a question on the status of US troops present in Syria, the US Defense Secretary, James Mattis, declared that his country had a UN guarantee to chase out the Islamic Emirates (Daesh) from Syria.
And following this, he declared that US troops in Syria would not be withdrawn until the Geneva Process was complete, the purpose being to avoid Daesh from returning.
The constitutional government of the Syrian Arab Republic has repeatedly denounced the illegal presence of US troops (...)

On 15 February, the Alliance’s Ministers of Defense assembled at the Nato headquarters in Brussels, in the presence of General James Mattis, Secretary of Defence in the Trump administration.
At this meeting the ministers decided to establish a South Hub and gave it the mandate of controlling Africa and the Middle East. It was also resolved to suspend spying flights in Syria.
Right from the start of the war launched by Washington, London and Paris against Syria, Nato has been responsible (...)

The new Defense Secretary, General James Mattis, has just confirmed the appointment of Admiral Craig S. Faller (see photo) as a personal adviser and Admiral Kevin M. Sweeney as his chief of staff.
The appointment of a soldier to the head of the Defense Department had aroused the concern of several Congressmen. The appointment of another two high ranking officers to a cabinet that traditionally has been comprised of civilians will not serve to sedate them.
The three men have already (...)

It’s good to be back and I’m grateful to serve alongside you as Secretary of Defense.
Together with the Intelligence Community we are the sentinels and guardians of our nation. We need only look to you, the uniformed and civilian members of the Department and your families, to see the fundamental unity of our country. You represent an America committed to the common good; an America that is never complacent about defending its freedoms; and an America that remains a steady beacon of hope for (...)

While the media treat the US primaries as if they were a competition between Trump and Cruz on one side, and Clinton and Sanders on the other, a whole machinery is now being set in motion to block the real estate promoter, who is threatening the interests of the WASP ruling class. In this article, Thierry Meyssan exposes the stakes which, for the moment, no-one has mentioned publicly.
This article is intended for a well-informed electorate.
