US Special Envoy to Syria Michael Ratney — Started peace mission in Moscow this week.

Speaking on NPR’s Diane Rehm Show on Friday, August 28, 2015, New York Times White House correspondent Mark Landler patronized and belittled US peace negotiator Michael Ratney, suggesting that Ratney is obscure, while figures like Richard Holbrooke and General John Allen [sic!] are household words. These remarks show the pervasiveness and impudence of the neocon networks presently mobilized to drive this nation into another catastrophic war over trumped-up charges against Syria and Iran.
