After having taken back from Daesh the State they had promised, straddling parts of Iraq and Syria, the United States now intend to recuperate some of their mercenaries in order to make use of them in a different manner. National Security Advisor John Bolton has designed new goals, new partners and new methods. Since this new system is secret, we know about it only insofar as parts of the plan have already been implemented. Thierry Meyssan explores this world of violence.

According to an investigation carried out by El País, the Moujahideens of the People made a contribution of 800 000 euro to fund the electoral campaign of the Andalusian party, Vox, in the 2004 European Elections .
The Socialist daily newspaper established the subsidiary used to transfer the money but it has not managed to shed light on its signification.
The Moujahideens of the People started out as an Iranian Marxist organization established at the end of the dictatorship of Shah Reza (...)

Around 4000 persons, most of who came from Eastern Europe, have participated in an all expenses paid Annual Meeting of the Mujahideens of the People in Paris.
Sponsored by Maryam Radjavi, the life cycle of the Mujahideens of the People has been bizarre:
• stage one: they were an Iranian Marxist political party;
• stage two: they metamorphized into a private Iraqi army serving Saddam Hussein
• stage three: they were classified as a “terrorist” organization by the United States and the (...)

The Mujahidin-e-Khalq (MEK) (Iranian armed opposition group financed by Washington) held a large rally in Villepinte, near Paris, on 27 June 2014. More than 80 000 people attended the event.
While the main objective of the meeting was to support the Mujahidin military base in Iraq, Camp Asharaf and their fight against Iran, MEK president Maryam Rajavi seized the opportunity to violently lash out against Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and rejoice over the progress achieved by the (...)

The Secretary General of the United-Nations, Ban Ki-moon, has been provided by Washington with a special adviser to help him find a solution to the Mujahedin problem: Jane Holl Lute, who served until recently as the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security. She will be working in collaboration with Jonathan Winer at the State Department.
Mrs. Lute is the wife of General Douglas Edward Lute, the current United States Permanent Representative on the Council of the North Atlantic Treaty (...)

In an act of unequivocal and explicit hostility toward Iran, the United States took the name of Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) off its list of foreign terrorist organizations on Friday, September 28, showing its unconditional support to the sworn enemies of the Iranian nation straight from the shoulder.
The U.S. government announced the decision a few days after the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton submitted a file of classified information about the terrorist cult to the Congress. (...)

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has deleted the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (Mujaheddin-e-Khalq - MEK) from the list of terrorist organizations after they evacuated Camp Ashraf (100 km north of Baghdad) and agreed to relocate at at Camp Liberty (near Baghdad airport).
Originally an Iranian Marxist political party, the People’s Mujahedin gradually became a political sect devoted to the worship of it’s leaders Massoud and Maryam Rajavi.
After fighting the Shah Reza Pahlevi and taking part in (...)

Judge Antonio Cassese has resigned as a member and President of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. In a statement, he justified his decision on health grounds. In fact, the situation had become untenable ever since our revelations on his previous entanglements triggered a controversy. Lebanese journalist Hassan Hamadeh has made it his hobby-horse , and Hezbollah recently followed suit.
A personal friend of Elie Wiesel, Mr. Cassese had reinvigorated his support for the State of Israel and (...)

Myriam Rajavi, President-elect of Democratic Islamic Republic of Iran in Exile.
On 26 June 2010, the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (Mujahideen-e-Khalq) convened a gathering of their members at Taverney, near Paris.
This military sect is commanded by Massoud and Myriam Rajavi, although it is not known whether Massoud is still alive since he hasn’t been seen in public since 2003.
While the Pentagon and the Obama Administration have detached themselves from this organisation, the Mujahedin (...)

On 28 and 29 July 2009, more than 3000 members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) were forcibly evicted by the Iraqi police from their Ashraf base in Iraq. The armed confrontation left 13 people dead, 36 missing and countless wounded.
Adressing the western media, the Mujahedin office in Paris alleged that the operation was carried out by the government of Shia Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki at Iran’s behest. Furthermore, the organization accused the International Red Cross of passive (...)

The Moudjahidin of the People (hereinafter “the MDP”) was the progeny of an armed resistance to the dictatorship of Iran’s shah. Its raison d’etre was to bring about an Islamic and social revolution. However, Ayatollah Khomeiny, shoved it, sine nolente, to a side.
From objective alliances to shady agreements, followed by clear acts of betrayal, the MDP becomes a prosthetic of Washington. Washington weaponizes it to destroy the Iranian people - the MDP’s own people - and by doing so, makes it self-destruct.
Responsible for attacks in 15 countries against Iranian interests and for participating in the worst acts of the Saddam Hussein regime, today the MDP is considered a terrorist organization, yet one supported by US hawks.

After having invaded Iraq, the hawks redouble their pressure on Iran and Syria. The Pentagon’s Office of Special Plans is setting up Iranian opposition groups in exile around the son of the defeated Shah and is orchestrating an international propaganda campaign. Anticipating a probable opposition by Paris, its actively trying to shape French public opinion. It’s also bringing back the Peoples Mujahedeen and negotiating its rearmament, even when the State Department views them as terrorists.
