The attorneys of Julian Assange have disclosed official US documents showing that the head of the CIA considered Wikileaks to be a “non-state hostile intelligence service”. Mike Pompeo had various kidnapping and murder scenarios drawn up to thwart his transfer from the Ecuadorian embassy in London - where he was holed up - to Russia. The United States had obtained permission from the United Kingdom to deploy weapons at a London airport against Russian officials. The plan was shelved because President Donald Trump had opposed it and the transfer was not carried out [1].

Groomed by the CIA in Australia, Julian Assange was initially involved in exposing corrupt African leaders. Then he realized that the documents he helped to release only served to satisfy United States appetites on the Dark Continent. He therefore turned against them and leaked a trove of internal reports from military bases in Iraq. In doing so, he brought to light that what had been portrayed as “blunders” were in fact part and parcel of Washington’s policy. Despite its rhetoric, the United States was not seeking to pacify Iraq, but rather to obliterate it. Julian Assange then embarked on a vast enterprise to divulge documentation on all aspects of Western imperialism.

The CIA perceived the uncovering of its Vault-7 program as the most serious leak in its history. It is a system that can compromise core Microsoft and Apple software, as well as smartphones, computers and smart TVs.

Today, Julian Assange is seriously damaged psychologically. He is held in a UK prison awaiting his extradition to the United States.
