The Pentagon has five regional commands in charge of implementing imperial policy. The heads of these commands are dubbed "viceroys" after the British viceroys during British India .
CentCom (United States Command for the Greater Middle East) will henceforth also oversee Israel, which until now fell within the EuCom area (United States Command for Europe) .
The Pentagon is reorganizing its regional system, taking into account the normalization of relations between the Jewish and (...)

If Joe Biden is inducted as President of the United States, he could support the plans of the Iranian and Turkish presidents. He could support the creation of an Iranian regional empire in the Levant and a Turkish regional empire in the Caucasus, both at the expense of Russia. Thierry Meyssan examines the changes that have taken place in Iran.

The Israeli-Emirati treaty upsets the rhetoric about the Middle East and makes possible an Arab-Israeli peace. It interrupts Israel’s inexorable nibbling of Arab territories and establishes diplomatic relations between Israel and the leader of the Arab world. If one is to examine without prejudice a situation where fear, violence and hatred are causing manifest injustices, it is clear that President Trump’s initiative has unblocked a conflict that has been tense for twenty-seven years. He was immediately nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

“Today, nations across the region and throughout the world are joining together, united in their determination to build a better future.”

To make peace, it’s quite simple: you just have to stop making war with each other. But in the Greater Middle East, it is much more complicated, because there are a multitude of actors for whom a solution, whatever it may be, must satisfy conflicting claims. Under these conditions, no peace can be totally just, but it can at least, and must, guarantee the security of all.

During the quarter of Western lockdown, the map of the Middle East was profoundly transformed. Yemen has been divided into two separate countries, Israel is paralysed by two Prime Ministers who hate each other, Iran openly supports NATO in Iraq and Libya, Turkey occupies northern Syria, Saudi Arabia is close to bankruptcy. All alliances are being called into question and new dividing lines are appearing or rather reappearing.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, UAE soldiers and 4,000 US troops joined up to carry out an exercise on 21 and 22 March on a military base in the UAE.
The al-Hamra training camp ("red camp") was especially built in 2015 for $ 78 million, in anticipation for an attack against Iran. It comprises a replica of a small town with an airport and control tower, a mosque and a small oil refinery. Henceforth, preparations will be underway for an attack on Saudi Arabia.
The "Little Sparta", to use (...)

While Europeans and Arabs are being absorbed by the coronavirus, Anglo-Saxons are changing the world order. Under US command, the United Kingdom took control of the Red Sea entrance; the United Arab Emirates turned on Saudi Arabia and inflicted a bitter defeat on South Yemen, while the Houthis did the same in North Yemen. Yemen is now split into two separate states and the territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia is threatened.

Events in the "Broader Middle East" since 2001 have followed a relentless logic. The current question is whether the time has come for a new war in Turkey or Saudi Arabia. The answer depends in particular on the resumption of hostilities in Libya. It is in this context that the Additional Protocol negotiated by Presidents Erdoğan and Putin to resolve the Idleb crisis must be interpreted.

For two decades, US troops have been imposing their law on the broader Middle East. Entire countries are now without a state to defend them. Populations have been subjected to the dictatorship of the Islamists. Mass murders have been committed. There have been famines as well. President Donald Trump has forced his generals to repatriate their soldiers, but the Pentagon intends to continue its work with NATO soldiers.

Ultimately, it looks as though NATO will take over in the Arab world after the withdrawal of CentCom (US Central Command in the Middle East). Germany could play a leadership role in the Alliance.
Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg hopes to:
1. deploy the Alliance in Tunisia and make the war in Libya last forever;
2. deploy the Alliance in Iraq and Jordan and make the war in Syria go on forever.
On 1 February 2020, Turkey suddenly moved closer to NATO, of which it is a member, and (...)

BILATERAL
We, the Presidents of Turkey and Russia, have been developing constructive bilateral relations in a wide spectrum of areas on the basis of mutual respect. Today’s inauguration of the TurkStream natural gas pipeline, which we are realizing here in Istanbul, is a concrete example of this mutually beneficial relationship. We are pleased that our cooperation not only serves to enhance the interests of our two peoples but also contributes to addressing regional problems.
