Syria broadcasts a mercenary’s confessions on chemical weapons…still in the land of make-believe

Syrian Arab Television has broadcast the confessions of Walid Hendi, a Syrian who had been recruited to support armed groups.

Hendi indicated that he had participated in a section of the White Helmets during which time he was actively involved in making a film broadcast on Turkish television documenting a fake chemical attack on Aleppo. It was necessary to concoct false evidence so that the finger could be pointed at Damascus for failing to respect its undertaking to destroy all its chemical weapons and for using some of them.
