Sergei Shoigu in Damascus

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was received by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus on 15 February 2022.

He went to inspect the Russian military installations in that country and to assess the needs in the region.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will be travelling to Damascus on 21 February.
