Founded by French intellectual Thierry Meyssan, Voltaire Network International is a web of non-aligned press groups dedicated to the analysis of international relations.

Originating from diversified political, social and cultural backgrounds, the members of Voltaire Network collectively adhere to the principles of the 1955 Bandung Conference:

1. Respect for fundamental human rights and for the purposes and principles of the charter of the United Nations
2. Respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations
3. Recognition of the equality of all races and of the equality of all nations large and small
4. Abstention from intervention or interference in the internal affairs of another country
5. Respect for the right of each nation to defend itself, singly or collectively, in conformity with the the United Nations Charter
6. (a) Abstention from the use of arrangements of collective defence to serve any particular interests of the big powers
(b) Abstention by any country from exerting pressures on other countries
7. Refraining from acts or threats of aggression or the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any country
8. Settlement of all international disputes by peaceful means, such as negotiation, conciliation, arbitration or judicial settlement as well as other peaceful means of the parties own choice, in conformity with the United Nations Charter
9. Promotion of mutual interests and cooperation
10. Respect for justice and international obligations.

Voltaire Network does not aim to promote a particular ideology or a world vision, but to hone the critical thinking of its readers. It places reflection before belief and arguments before convictions.

Publications

Voltaire Network publishes both a paid weekly factual bulletin and this free website offering analytical material.

• Weekly Bulletin on International Politics

"Voltaire, international newsletter" appears 46 times a year, in PDF format. At a minimum, it includes:
 10 pages of contextualized briefs.
a documentary supplement (alternatively based on (1) articles from academic journals, (2) official documents, (3) think tank reports and (4) political science books).

The news selected to appear in this bulletin aim to show that, contrary to the view promoted by the major news agencies, the world is not made up of good guys (Westerners) and bad guys (everyone else), but of a multitude of states and cultures, all of which have the right to live and flourish. It dwells on the emergence of a multipolar organization of the world and on the return of the West to its rightful place.

This newsletter is chargeable through:
 annual subscription: 150 euros
 monthly subscription: 15 euros

It was first published in French in mid-2022, and it is currently translated into five other languages: English, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch.

Every Friday, subscribers receive an email with a download link to the weekly newsletter.

• Website

The Voltaire Network website was launched with the founding of the association in 1994, at a time when almost no one used this type of tool. At the beginning, it was used to disseminate the articles contributed by its numerous partners in Latin America and in the Arab world. Gradually, each newspaper and magazine went on to develop its own website and withdrew from this common platform. We have therefore reorganized it around the URL: https://www.voltairenet.org.

We now only publish analytical articles. Our aim is not to describe events (for that we use our PDF newsletter), but to grasp their meaning.

The articles are dated the day of their publication. However, the texts featured in the “Diplomatic thread” section do not originate from Voltaire Network and are only introduced for documentary support. These are dated the day of their initial publication by the author.
Articles are categorized by keyword, so that they will gradually build up an encyclopedia on each subject (see the “Folders” drop-down menu).
